Family Focused Solution Based Services

Be a part of an innovative new program in Montgomery County. Family Focused Solution Based Services (FFSBS) is seeking staff to assist youth and families to use their strengths to regain their direction as a family system. This is a family-driven, team-delivered service that provides individual therapy, family therapy and case management activities to help the families function as a unit with more community supports and fewer professional supports in their lives. The Montgomery County Family Focused Solution Based Services program consists of one master’s level therapist and one bachelor’s level case manager.

Immediate position available:

Master’s level Therapist: This person will provide support and therapeutic interventions, training and counseling to individuals living in their own homes or natural family’s homes. Identify through the assessment process each individual’s and their family’s needs and preferences. Work as part of a team, to develop and implement an individualized treatment plan of support, which strengthens natural relationships and promotes community participation. Coordinate all of the services and supports outlined in the plan of care according to agency, county and state policies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in counseling, family therapy, social work, or psychology
• 2-3 years of family therapy experience preferred
• Billable expectation of 30hrs/wk across multiple programs
• Available for on-call rotation
