You are invited to participate in the first Chester County Youth Summit, which will take place on Saturday, March 3rd at West Chester University’s Sykes Building.
The goals of the Youth Summit are to expose youth to other Summit participants from different backgrounds, communities, and cultures and offer opportunities for leadership, skill development, and empowerment.
This unique event gathers youth, ages 12 to 24, to discuss topics which were voted on through polls by youth across the county as the most sensitive and relevant issues teens and young adults face today.
Workshops include: Drugs & Alcohol, Teen Pregnancy, Creative Writing as an Outlet, Bullying & Discrimination, and Families: Being Supportive. Depending on the amount of people in attendance, all workshops will run simultaneously in small groups so that each group may rotate through and attend each one.
See the Registration Form for more information and to register. Please register by 2/15.
Brought to you by Chester County Department of Human Services, Child and Family Focus, and West Chester University's Undergraduate Social Work Department.
