Child and Family Focus Inc. is a non-profit, faith based agency serving children and youth in Montgomery, Chester, Bucks and Delaware counties. It is our mission to enhance the quality of life for youth and their families. We provide and advocate for the least restrictive, family and community based settings for children's optimum growth and positive change. Our Vision CFF aspires to become a leader in providing innovative services to families and children who have emotional and behavioral challenges. We are dedicated to meeting their needs through a strong commitment to the CASSP principles, best practices, and continuum of care. We look to reduce how long children / youth live in Residential Treatment Facilities and help families achieve successful relationships and meaningful lives. Our Goals It is the goal of CFF to offer Family-Based Services, Respite Care and Therapeutic Foster Care Services to children and youth with mental and behavioral challenges. These programs will provide child-centered, family-focused, community-based services with a multidisciplinary team approach. Our goal is for the child to successfully remain in his / her or return home from Therapeutic Foster Care rather than be placed in a residential or psychiatric facility. We aspire to: Reduce the number of children served out-of-home. Decrease length and stay in out-of-home placements. Provide permanency and reunification with family. Lessen unplanned re-entries into out-of-home placements. Treatment Continuity CFF follows a new and effective method of care by offering Family-Based, Therapeutic Foster Care and Respite Services to provide significant continuity of care. With our model, children are followed by the same team, preserving the established relationship with the child and family throughout treatment, be it in-home, Therapeutic Foster Care, Respite Care, or short term hospital stay. In so doing, we prevent the common disruptive, ineffectual, costly cycle of multi-agency / multi-system care management.
